CASE & BRACELET
The strong 18k yellow gold case is simply remarkable for its age, showing only minimal signs of previous polishing and retains thick, symmetrical lugs. The smooth 18k yellow gold bezel is in wonderful condition, showing almost no signs of previous use. The gold Rolex crown is most likely an early service replacement, which is common for gold watches from this era. The watch will come supplied on a 2pc handmade leather strap with an original Rolex gold buckle.
DIAL & HANDS
The tropical "OCC" silver dial with ornate applied markers is extraordinary, the tropical patina offers a "one of a kind" aesthetic across the dial that makes for a natural work of art. The radium lume plots all remain present and have achieved a satisfying sandy patina, under U.V. light inspection there is some slight lume degradation throughout. The original radium hands match the dial perfectly and exhibit no degradation when inspected under U.V. light.
