CASE & BRACELET
The strong case is believed to remain unpolished with strong factory finishing on both the tops and bottoms of the symmetrical lugs with honest signs of use. The smooth stainless steel bezel is unpolished and shows light signs of honest use. The case back is unpolished as well. The Rolex "U.S.A. Made" oval-link Jubilee bracelet retains 17 links that show stretch, which is common for this style bracelet from this era.
DIAL & HANDS
The blue mosaic dial is truly beautiful and also rarely seen in ref. 1002's. The dial itself is very well preserved though it does show some appropriate signs of age, most notable is the oxidation around the lume plots which is common. The tritium lume plots have aged to an excellent yellow coloration and exhibit no degradation when inspected under U.V. light. The original tritium hands match the dial nicely and display no degradation when inspected under U.V. light.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch was recently serviced and is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
