1974 Rolex Oyster-Perpetual Date (Ref. 1500) Grey Sigma Dial
This Rolex Oyster Perpetual would make a great start for a new vintage collector, or be a great addition to an expanding collection as a daily driver and would provide a classic feel while bringing a unique look while worn on the wrist. A Sigma dial is a Rolex dial named for the letters printed at the bottom of the dial at the 6 o'clock position. Most Rolex dials are commonly marked with “T Swiss T,” under the 6 o'clock marker, however, a Sigma dial is marked “σ T SWISS T σ.” This signifies the use of gold components within the dial.

CASE & BRACELET
The strong case is believed to remain unpolished and exhibits crisp angles and strong factory finishing with honest signs of use. The smooth stainless steel bezel is unpolished and displays light signs of honest use. The case back remains unpolished as well. The watch will come supplied on a 2pc handmade leather strap.
DIAL & HANDS
The grey sunburst "sigma" dial is in excellent condition showing no blemishes or signs of age. The tritium lume plots have aged to a vibrant yellow coloration, under U.V. light inspection the 2 o'clock lume plot features degradation, the rest of the lume plots exhibit no degradation. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly and show no degradation when inspected under U.V light. The sweep-seconds hand shows some corrosion which is common. The metallic date wheel is era correct with open 6's and 9's.

None. The watch is recently serviced and is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
