1991 OMEGA Speedmaster Automatic (175.0043 )
The Omega Speedmaster is by far one of our most favorite chronographs. The Speedmaster has an incredible history starting with automotive racing moving into flight and eventually to NASA and the U.S. Space Program. There are many subtle differences within the vintage Omega Speedmaster range of references that make them all slightly unique and different.
The Speedmaster Automatic, also known as the "Speedmaster Reduced" for its smaller 39mm case size, debuted in 1991 to much applause. Finally bringing the Speedmaster into the modern age with the Omega Cal. 1155 automatic movement, which also features a date function. This piece would be suited for casual and formal settings alike as it possesses the classic and timeless Omega Speedmaster look while housing an automatic movement!
