1966 Seiko Mono Pusher Chronograph (Ref. 5717-8990)
The Seiko Mono Pusher Chronograph is a special piece of the Seiko legacy. Designed alongside the Seiko World Time, both were created to celebrate and assist in the 1964 summer Olympics that would be hosted in Japan, also known as the 'Games of the XVIII Olympiad'. This specific chronograph hosts a 60-second timer and the pusher can be used to start, stop, and reset the chronograph feature. The ref. 5717-8990 also features a date wheel, which was not present in the first 45899 Mono Pusher model.

CASE & BRACELET
The case is believed to be unpolished, featuring beautiful and dramatic sloping beveled lugs that exhibit honest signs of use. The bi-directional stainless steel bezel shows appropriate signs of use, with all of its factory black enamel still intact and legible. The caseback retains its original serial and reference number engravings in clear and visible condition. The embossed caseback Olympic torch insignia is crisp and present. The watch comes on its original rolled link Seiko bracelet.
DIAL & HANDS
The original sunburst silver dial is in wonderful vintage condition, showing only moderate signs of age. All lume plots are fully in tact under U.V. light inspection and have aged to a nice creamy green coloration. The original lunimous hands match the dial perfectly there is come lume loss in the minute hand and it remains stable, the hour hand remains fully intact. The quickset date wheel shows minimal signs of age.

None. Watch is functioning perfectly and keeping time, previous service history is unknown.
