Omega

1972 Omega Geneve (Ref. 166.0125)

$ 1,950

The world of vintage Omega is vast, filled with interesting and unique references, unlike almost any other manufacture. This is true whether one wishes to get weird with a racing, dress, diving, or any other category. Omega has them all. The 1970s especially were a time when the watch world as a whole really tested the limits of design, of what a watch could be and how it could look, not just what it could do.

CASE & BRACELET

This ref. 166.0123 Omega Automatic features a unique stainless steel case with an integrated matching bracelet. In great condition, the watch shows wear but appear to be unpolished, with a fantastic vertical grain satin-finished bezel. The Case retains its original Omega signed crown. The Omega oyster-style integrated bracelet retains 15 links that show minimal stretch from use.

DIAL & HANDS

The dial is a beautiful sunburst silver shining with just a touch of golden patina. The stainless steel hour markers are all intact and inlaid with black enamel. The tritium markers are also faultless, having aged ever so slightly over the last 50 years. The watch also features thin, elegant stick hands and day and date complications.

ACCESSORIES
