1950s Zodiac Automatic Chronometre (Ref. 725-322) 18K YG
When it comes to vintage watch brands, Zodiac is definitely one of the more under-the-radar options. In the ‘50s and ‘60s, Zodiac was a highly respected challenger to brands like Rolex, Blancpain, and Tudor, mostly thanks to the iconic Sea-Wolf. And perhaps due in part to not having the same clout as some of the aforementioned brands, Zodiac was known for crafting unique and highly-functional watches at more attainable price points.
Case in point, this Zodiac ref. 725-322 from the 1960s, a beautiful and simple 18K gold piece that is certainly a conversation starter, all at a price point that is far more obtainable than anything of this nature produced by Zodiac's competitors.

DIAL & HANDS
The originally silver dial has patinated to a "tropical" champagne color that adds to the vintage nature of the watch. The hour markers, hands, Zodiac logo, and even date window are all gold, which offers a regal quality. The inlaid gold enamel on the hands adds to the watch's sophisticated presence and remains fully intact.
