"The Rolex Day-Date is one of the most iconic and beautiful watches in the Rolex catalog. The Rolex Day-Date earned the nickname "President" after it had been rumored that President a Dwight Eisenhower began wearing one, however, Eisenhower wore a Rolex 18K yellow gold Oyster Perpetual Datejust which Rolex gifted to him in 1953. However the nickname President is quite fitting for the day date as  Presidents Kennedy, Johnson, Ford, Reagan, Nixon and Roosevelt,  all wore the Rolex Day-Date and is a symbol of status and luxury as the Rolex Day-Date is only made in precious metals most commonly 18k yellow gold and possesses both the day and date complications within the movement.

CASE & BRACELET

Stunning 18K YG case that has been lightly polished and has light wear from use. The lugs remain very thick and are even. The 18k WG fluted bezel is also in stunning original condition. The twin lock crown is also original to the watch and shows the correct 2 dots under the coronet signifying a twin lock crown in white gold

DIAL & HANDS

The silver dial is in stunning and original condition showing no blemishing or flaws. The date wheel possesses the era correct open 6' and 9's, and the gold fluted bezel has not been over polished which adds to the exclusive and executive feel of the piece. The lume dots on the dial remain fully intact and show no lume degradation when viewed under U.V. Light. The original Dauphine tritium filled hands show a light patina and are original to this early Ref 1803.

None. The watch was recently serviced and is running at COSC spec. The watch will come with a one year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
