Synchron bought Doxa in the late 1960s and added the brand to a group that also included Ernest Borel and Cyma, and was purchase again in 1978 by the Aubry Freres Company.  The second-generation or “Synchron Era\" as many refer to it, was aimed to be the watch of choice for the emerging recreational diving community. The original uni-directional bezel is in impressive original condition, retaining all of its factory enamel, with light signs of honest use. The crown is an early replacement. The case back retains all of its factory markings and the Doxa logo medallion is in excellent unpolished condition. The dial is lume is no longer present, most likely removed early in the watch's life. The original tritium hands have aged to a grey coloration which is common for Sharkhunters of this era, and exhibit no degradation under U.V\u0026gt; light inspection.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eACCESSORIES \u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNone.
