"Mint" 1964 Seiko Mono-Pusher Chronograph (Ref. 5719-8980)
The Seiko Mono Pusher Chronograph is a special piece of the Seiko legacy. Designed alongside the Seiko World Time, both were created to celebrate and assist in the 1964 Summer Olympics that were hosted in Japan, also known as the 'Games of the XVIII Olympiad'. This specific chronograph hosts a rotating black bezel and of course, the 60-second timer which is operated by the single pusher at the 2 o'clock position to start, stop, and reset the chronograph feature. The ref. 5719-8980 is also a non-date model, similar to the first ref. 45899 Mono Pusher Seiko model.

CASE & BRACELET
The exceptional case appears to remain unpolished with the originally intended design on full display, featuring crisp bevels and edges throughout the straight-lug case design. The rotating black bezel is virtually flawless showing no age or damage. The unsigned crown and single pump pusher are the original to the watch. The untouched case back partially retains its original factory blue protective coating. The watch comes supplied on a 2pc handmade leather strap.
DIAL & HANDS
The silver sunburst dial is simply stunning and in near-perfect condition, showing no damage and only subtle elements of expected age at the edges of the dial that are invisible to the naked eye. The lume plots feature a charming creamy patina and exhibit no degradation. The original luminous hands match the dial perfectly and show no degradation when inspected under UV light.
