Omega Seamaster 300 (Ref. 166.024) WatchCo
The Omega Seamaster 300 ref. 166.024 remains one of the most celebrated vintage dive watches ever produced, but finding an original example capable of modern daily wear, especially in the water, has become increasingly difficult. Enter the “WatchCo” Seamaster 300. WatchCo, once an Omega-authorized service center based in Australia, accumulated a substantial inventory of genuine Omega service components before Omega transitioned most restoration work in-house. With access to these factory parts, WatchCo began assembling Seamaster 300 watches using authentic Omega service cases, bezels, crowns, dials, and hands, paired with period-correct vintage Omega movements that were fully restored and serviced.
While not original 1960s watches in the traditional sense, WatchCo Seamaster 300s offer something uniquely compelling: the closest experience possible to purchasing a brand-new Seamaster 300 in the 1960s. These watches combine the unmistakable proportions and charm of Omega’s legendary dive watch with the practicality of fresh factory components, functioning luminous material, and true everyday usability. The result is a watch that captures the spirit of the original while remaining robust enough for regular wear, swimming, and travel.
Now firmly regarded as cult favorites among collectors and enthusiasts alike, WatchCo Seamaster 300s have become some of the most sought-after modern-vintage Omega offerings on the market. Their blend of authenticity, utility, and value makes them incredibly versatile. Equally at home on vacation, in the ocean, or paired with a tailored jacket in the boardroom.
