This Omega Seamaster (Ref.145.005) is one of the most sought-after vintage Omega Seamaster chronographs. This specific reference houses the Omega 321-caliber movement. This movement is one of Omega's most robust movements due to its superior performance and durability. This same 321 cal. movement can also be found in the Omega Speedmaster Professional or "Moonwatch." The Omega cal. 321 movement was in production for roughly only 11 years, The production of this specific movement was cost-prohibitive. Making this piece, from a horological perspective, that much more limited and ultimately rare altogether due to lower production numbers.

This specific Omega Seamaster ref 145.005 is absolutely stunning, making for a wonderful addition to an existing collection and or make a great daily driver on its original bracelet or vintage style strap.

CASE & BRACELET

The beautiful and angular straight lug case retains its chamfers and is believed to remain unpolished, showing honest signs of light use. The smooth stainless steel bezel also remains in wonderful original condition. The case retains its original pump pushers, the crown is an early Omega replacement. The case back retains its factory engravings and also features a hand-engraved serial number "45II754". The Omega 1503 "beads of rice" bracelet with 570 end pieces is in exceptional condition for its age, showing minimal stretch for this bracelet style and retains 21 links.

DIAL & HANDS

The untouched silver sunburst dial is simply stunning. The tritium lume has aged to a warm golden coloration, under U.V. light inspection the 8 o'clock lume plot shows some light degradation, the rest of the lume plots all remain fully intact without lume loss. The black enamel hands with tritium lume are a later Omega replacement and match the overall aesthetic of the watch nicely, the chronograph and sub-dials hands remain original to the watch.
