CASE & BRACELET
The strong case retains thick and symmetrical lugs that show crisp edges and original factory finishing. The case does exhibit honest signs of use with no notable evidence of being previously polished. The smooth stainless steel bezel is in excellent condition, showing crisp finishing and honest signs of use. The original Rolex 7836 folded-link Oyster bracelet with 258 end pieces also dates to 1971 and retains 13 links that show light stretch for the style and age of the bracelet and will fit up to an 8-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The original blue sunburst "pie-pan" dial is in wonderful vintage condition, showing no damage and only mild aging in the form of a sparse gold color change that is common for this dial color and era. The tritium lume plots have taken on a lovely creamy-yellow patina and display no degradation under UV light inspection. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly and exhibit no degradation when inspected under UV light. The metallic date wheel is original with "open" 6's and 9's.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch is keeping time perfectly, though the service history is unknown. A movement service can be purchased upon request.
