2021 Omega Speedmaster "Ed White Re-Issue" (Ref. 311.30.40.30.01.001) Cal. 321 W/ Full Set

 The Omega Speedmaster Professional is by far one of our favorite chronographs. The Speedmaster has an incredible history starting with automotive racing moving into flight and eventually to NASA and the U.S. Space Program. There are many subtle differences within the vintage Omega Speedmaster range of references that make them all slightly unique, different, and of course highly collectible.

The Omega Speedmaster "Pre Professional" is also known as the watch that NASA astronaut Ed White wore during EVA for NASA during the Gemini IV mission on June 3, 1965. Ed White became the first American to walk in space while wearing an Omega Speedmaster ref. 105.003 bearing the iconic cal. 321 chronograph movement. 

Very surprisingly, in 2020, Omega brought back the caliber 321 movement for the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission, encased in an updated, yet, faithful recreation of the "Pre-Professional" case with straight lugs and flat-link style bracelet. Though this highly praised re-issue is technically not a limited release, only a very small amount of cal. 321 movements are being manufactured each year by Omega, making allocations for this re-issue less common than the standard Speedmaster.
