1960s IWC Calatrava 18K YG (Ref. R1205) "Cal. 401"
Founded more than 150 years ago, the International Watch Company has grown to become one of the most recognizable Swiss watch brands on the planet. And one of the things they're especially famous for is their caliber 89 movement, a hand-wound masterpiece that's a long-time favorite among the watch community. Well, the cal. 401 beating within this reference R1205 is the updated version of that iconic movement. And surrounding that heartbeat is an absolutely beautiful yellow gold Calatrava-style case and dial. It's as classic—and classy—as they come and would look good on any wrist, in pretty much any setting

The watch will come supplied on a 2pc handmade leather strap.
The elegant and simple white dial is in superb, virtually flawless condition and has taken on a lovely warm patina. The gold indices and markers show no age. The original yellow gold hands remain in excellent condition as well and complete the overall stylistic presence of the watch.
