1965 Omega Seamaster Chronograph (Ref. 105.004) Cal. 321
This Omega Seamaster ref.105.004 is one of the most sought-after vintage Omega Seamaster chronographs, this reference houses the Omega 321-caliber movement which is loved by enthusiasts for its superior performance and durability that is not found in some of the later production chronograph caliber movements. The same cal. 321 movement can also be found in the Omega Speedmaster Professional or "Moonwatch". The Omega cal. 321 was in production for roughly only 11 years as the superior production of the cal. 321 was cost-prohibitive and eventually replaced. Making the ref. 105.004 from a horological perspective that much more limited and ultimately rare.
This specific Omega Seamaster ref. 105.004 has a dial that has taken on a stunning champagne coloration that is consistent throughout the dial, giving this watch a vintage aesthetic that is truly unique. The Seamaster chronographs are excellent for daily wear as they bridge the gap between dress watches and sport watches.

The broad lug case retains strong dimensions with present factory chamfers on the lugs, the case appears to have been very lightly polished in the past. The case retains its original pump pushers and "flat-foot' Omega signed crown. The screwdown case back shows light signs of use with its original factory engraving clearly visible.
The sunburst dial has taken on a strong warm patina that has changed the silver dial coloration to a handsome champagne tone. The dial itself is in excellent condition, showing no real dial wear. The tritium lume plots have taken on a nice ivory patina, under U.V. light inspection the lume plots show normal degradation which is common for this reference. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly and show no degradation under U.V. light inspection.
