Patek Philippe Aquanaut (Ref. 5065J) 18K YG "Jumbo"

The Patek Philippe Aquanaut was initially released in a 36mm case size with a limited production of 1000 pieces in 1997, after the 20th anniversary of the Nautilus sports watch. The ref. 5065 was released shortly after the limited run in the larger 38mm case size, hence the "jumbo" nickname, with the updated cal. 315 SC movement and sapphire caseback. The Aquanaut is the more sporty "younger brother" to the Nautilus featuring a similar highly finished round bezel and textured dial, and was the first Patek Philippe model sold on a rubber strap from factory.

This specific Patek Philippe Aquanaut ref. 5065J "jumbo" in 18K yellow gold comes on its rare and original 18K bracelet and remains in stunning unpolished condition. The tritium dial and hands are rare and sought after since this watch was only produced for a small period of time with tritium luminescence, and they have achieved an excellent warm hue that matches the fit and feel of the gold case.
