1960 Rolex Two-Tone Datejust (Ref. 1601) Silver "SWISS Only" Dial

CASE & BRACELET
The excellent case retains thick and symmetrical lugs that have been very gently polished in the past and exhibit honest signs of use throughout. The original 14K yellow gold fluted bezel retains its early "coin-edge" finishing and features a charming rose-colored patina around the edges. The Rolex 6251H two-tone Jubilee bracelet with 55 end pieces dates to 1970 and does show significant stretch from use though remains very much wearable, the bracelet retains 21 links and will fit up to a 7 3/4-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The original silver sunburst "pie pan" dial features unique gold markers and is in impressive condition, especially for the age of the watch, and has achieved a subtle warm patina throughout that adds to the overall vintage aesthetic of the piece. The dial itself exhibits no damage. The early strontium lume has achieved a charming golden patina with no degradation visible under UV light inspection. The original gold dauphine-style hands have aged to more of an ivory color and show no degradation under UV light inspection. The metallic date wheel is original with "open" 6's and 9's.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch is keeping time, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
