Omega

1967 Omega Seamaster Chronograph (Ref. 105.005-65) "Cal. 321" Gold-Filled Case

Omega perfectly blends elegance and functionality with the Seamaster line, which features notable models that range from extremely dressy timepieces to the most substantial and technically advanced diving watches.

This Omega Seamaster ref.105.005-65 is one of the most sought-after vintage Omega Seamaster chronographs, and is the personification of Omega's functional elegance. This reference employs the Omega cal. 321 chronograph movement, the very same movement Omega used in the "Moonwatch" Omega Speedmaster Professional. The cal. 321 is one of Omega's most robust movements due to its superior performance and durability and it was in production for roughly only 11 years, though the production of this specific movement was cost-prohibitive, and it was later replaced with the cal. 861 movement.

The straight lug case and "beads of rice" bracelet are both gold-filled on this example, lending itself to a more formal appearance, though we also think this watch would look incredible on a leather strap as a casual option. Either way, this watch is poised to be a conversation starter and elevate your style in any situation.

CASE & BRACELET

The gold-filled case is in exceptional condition, showing minimal signs of previous polishing and no major signs of use. The case retains its original pump pushers and the Omega-signed crown is believed to be original to the watch as well. The case back retains the factory markings and features an engraving that reads "SJL, JSN, 12-25-67". The original Omega gold-filled "beads-of-rice" bracelet with 11 endpieces shows moderate stretch for the age of the bracelet and will fit up to a 7-inch wrist.

DIAL & HANDS

The original silver sunburst 3-register chronograph dial is in beautiful overall condition, showing only gentle patina from age throughout but no damage. The tritium luminous material is mostly removed from the yellow-gold hour markers, with subtle remnants present. The original yellow-gold hands have been professionally restored with tritium.
