1972 Rolex Submariner (Ref. 5513)
The Rolex Submariner Reference 5513 is the embodiment of the classic dive watch. The 5513 is simple yet sophisticated and rugged. The ref. 5513 was first introduced in 1962 and ceased production in late 1989. The Ref. 5513 is a purpose-built dive watch that lacks the date function like other Rolex Submariner models. (eg. Ref. 1680.)

CASE & BRACELET
The excellent case has seen a gently polish in its past, remaining symmetrical and thick with original chamfers present through the lugs and honest signs of light use. The bezel insert is a later service unit with a luminova pearl and is in excellent condition showing no age or notable signs of use. The original Rolex "U.S.A Made" Oyster rivet bracelet retains 11 links that show moderate stretch from use and will fit up to a 7 1/2 inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The matt black dial is in near flawless condition with no notable spots of age or blemishes. The tritium lume plots have achieved a handsome golden yellow patina and exhibit no degradation when inspected under U.V. light. The original hands have been professionally restored with tritium to coordinate with the dial and display no degradation when inspected under U.V. light.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch was recently serviced and is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
