A Sigma dial is a Rolex dial named for the letters printed at the bottom of the dial at the 6 o'clock position. Most Rolex dials are commonly marked with “T Swiss T,” under the 6 o'clock marker, however, a Sigma dial is marked “σ T SWISS T σ.” This signifies the use of gold components within the dial.

CASE & BRACELET
The exceptional case is in very crisp condition, showing minimal signs of previous polishing and extremely thick lugs that show defined geometry with gentle signs of use. The white gold fluted bezel is also crisp and exhibits minimal signs of use. The case back retains defined finishing like the case. The original Rolex 6251H rolled-link Jubilee bracelet with 55 end pieces retains 22 links that show moderate stretch for the style of bracelet and will fit up to a 7 1/2-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The original, unique, and truly stunning blue "pie-pan" Sigma sunburst dial is oozing with vintage charm. Though it is somewhat common for blue dials to show a subtle patina around the lume plots, this dial takes that patina a step further to make for a very attractive overall vintage aesthetic. The tritium lume plots have taken on a vivid yellow patina and all remain intact, though the 3 o'clock plot displays nominal degradation when inspected under U.V. light. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly, under U.V. light inspection the minute hand exhibits some very minor lume loss and remains stable, the hour hand shows no degradation. The metallic date wheel is original with "open" 6's and 9's.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
