1974 Breitling Top Time Chronograph (Ref. 815) "Long Playing" W/ Box + Papers
The nickname "Long Playing" holds true when referring to the Breitling ref. 815 Top Time. With the addition of an extra-long mainspring implemented into the Valjoux 7736 manual wind movement, the power reserve is an extensive 52hrs. The ref. 815 also introduced the 12-hour recorder to the Top Time chronographs.
A true time capsule piece, this elusive Breitling chronograph features its original box, papers, and pamphlets. Boasting an oversized 38mm case and a stunning silver "panda" dial that features a unique blue tone, the overall condition on this ref. 815 is absolutely superb.

CASE & BRACELET
The excellent stainless steel case shows its original case finishing and geometry with light signs of use. The pump pushers and "Breitling" signed crown remain original watch. The pressure fit case back clearly displays all of the original factory engravings and the case also retains its original movement dust cover. The watch will come supplied on a 2pc black leather rally strap.
DIAL & HANDS
The stunning silver sunburst dial is in near perfect condition and has a lovely light blue tone that is characteristic of the ref. 815 chronograph dials. The black metallic subdials remain clean and untouched as well. The tritium lume plots have taken on a lovely creamy yellow coloration, remaining full and round under U.V. light inspection without degradation. The original tritium hands have aged a shade lighter than the dial and match the overall aesthetic of the watch, under U.V. light inspection the hands show no lume loss or degradation.
ACCESSORIES
This Breitling ref. 815 comes complete with its original box, warranty paper, and pamphlets. The watch is functioning and keeping time perfectly, previous service history is unknown.
