The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and most beloved Rolex watches ever made, even though the Datejust was launched in 1945 it has remained a timeless classic and is instantly recognizable as an item of refined quality and functional design. The Datejust can be worn just as easily with a suit as it can be with jeans and a tee-shirt. This specific ref. 16030 from 1981 would make a great start for a new vintage collector or be a great addition to an expanding collection.

This specific 1982 Datejust Ref. 16030 has an eye-catching dial that has gone "Tropical". The stick markers, accompanied by its original engine turned bezel paired with a vintage style leather strap would make a great daily driver that would find itself suitable for almost any setting casual to formal. This 1982 Rolex DateJust ref 16030 is a somewhat traditional piece due to the fact that the crystal is acrylic yet the movement is a Rolex cal. 3035  which possesses the "Quick Set" date function which comes in handy when needing to quickly adjust the date!
