*Mint* 1985 Rolex Datejust (Ref. 16014) Blue Dial
The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and most beloved Rolex watches ever made, even though the Datejust was launched in 1945 it has remained a timeless classic and is instantly recognizable as an item of refined quality and functional design. The Datejust can be worn just as easily with a suit as it can be with jeans and a tee shirt.
One of the largest evolutions for the Rolex Datejust model lineup was at the end of the 1970s with the introduction of the first "flat dial" Datejust. The movement was vastly upgraded to the Rolex Cal. 3035 quick-set movement. These Datejust variations are often referred to as "transitional" as they still feature the more classic acrylic crystals and tritium lume whilst housing many advancements.

CASE & BRACELET
The remarkable case is in exceptionally presentable unpolished and nearly unworn condition, showing extremely crisp factory finishing throughout. The 18K white gold fluted bezel is also in impressively crisp and unpolished condition, with no notable signs of use present. The case back retains its original and fully intact green Rolex sticker. The original Rolex 62510H Jubilee bracelet with 555 end pieces retains 22 links that show no stretch and will fit up to almost an 8-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The original blue sunburst dial is in beautiful condition, remaining bright in color with no actual damage and a subtle patina around the lume plots and center hand stack. The tritium lume plots have achieved a lovely yellow patina that contrasts perfectly with the blue dial, under U.V. light inspection all of the lume plots remain intact but the 3 o'clock lume plots exhibit very minor degradation which is common. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly with no degradation present under U.V. light inspection. The white date wheel is original with "open" 6's and 9's.
None. The watch was recently serviced and is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
