Tropical 1953 Omega Constellation 18K YG (Ref. 2652 SC) Cal. 354 "Pie-Pan" Dial W/ Box
While today the Constellation line is overshadowed by Omega's Speedmaster and Seamaster models, the striking Omega Constellation family was once the flagship in the Omega collection.
Dating back to 1952, the Omega Constellation has been regarded as one of the most luxurious and precise watch collections offered by the brand. Add to that the fact that they have always been chronometer rated, and you have a watch that is not only stunning in nearly any setting but also incredibly accurate.
Featuring an 18K yellow gold case, pie-pan dial, and dauphine hands, this ref. 2652 SC Omega Constellation is the most luxurious and top of the line example available at it's time of production. Today, its remains in extremely well-cared for and very well-persevered condition, with an exceptionally unique tropical patina to the iconic pie-pan dial.
|Material||18K Yellow Gold|
|Strap||2pc Leather Strap|
The beautiful and robust 18K yellow gold case is in exceptional condition and appears to have been maybe only polished once in its past as the original case geometry and finishing remains intact throughout. The case retains its original yellow gold Omega-signed crown. The case is in excellent and very presentable condition, showing minimal signs of use and retaining the Omega Constellation Observatory medallion in very crisp condition. The watch comes supplied on a 2pc handmade leather strap.
The original pie-pan applied logo dial is truly incredible and has achieved a stunning tropical patina that has given the entire dial a consistent orange / peach coloration. Apart from the tropical patina, the dial exhibits no damage and only a few minor elements of age. The original solid gold dauphine hands are in exceptional condition with no damage or oxidation present.
The watch comes with its original box. The watch was recently serviced and is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
