1998 Tudor Tiger Chronograph (Ref. 79280P)

Tudors long history of iconic chronographs continues into the late nineties with the "Tiger Chronographs." In 1998 Tiger Woods became the face of Tudor Watches, hence the name "TIGER" underneath the minute register at the 12 o'clock position. During this time period, Tudor was entering into a new era as a stand-alone watch company. Tudor's separation from Rolex becomes more evident as the crown, case, and bracelet are all signed Tudor and the dial doesn't feature the text "Oyster."

This is an excellent transitional timepiece, that would make a great start to a collection or be a resilient daily driver. Featuring locking pushers and a sapphire crystal that make the watch more durable and water resistant. All while retaining its original tritium lume, bridging the gap between modern and vintage horology.
