The excellent case retains full and symmetrical lugs that exhibit light signs of use and minimal evidence of being previously polished. The stainless steel engine-turned bezel retains very crisp edges and finishing, with nominal signs of previous use present. The crown is an early Rolex OEM service unit. The case back retains its original "Registered Design" factory engraving with some tool marks present. The original Rolex "Swiss Made" Oyster rivet bracelet with 66 end pieces retains 11 links that show minimal stretch and will fit up to a 6.25-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The original and charmingly unique dial features a small seconds register above 6 o'clock and has developed a wonderful warm tropical patina throughout, showing only gentle marks from age. The radium lume plots have taken on a dark grey patina and exhibit no degradation under UV light inspection. The original alpha hands match the dial perfectly with no degradation in the lume present when inspected under UV light.
