Many Calatrava dress watch cases border on the boringly benign in their design. But here, Vacheron decided on the shockingly simple. With a wide, sloped bezel and long, thin and downturned lugs, this Calatrava carries a bold look. It helps that Vacheron opted to go oversize and the watch is a full-bodied 38-millimeters.
DIAL & HANDS
The dial is a beautiful silver-white with faint vertical graining. It features a mix of gold Arabic and beveled stick hour markers, with elegant gold pencil hands and a blued steel seconds hand.
