1953 Rolex Speedking Precision (Ref. 6020)
When you think of Rolex, probably the watches that come to mind are names like Submariner, Daytona, or GMT. Further down the list, and maybe not on the list at all, is the little-known "Speedking". A manually wound, unisex, mid-century Rolex. A fantastic-looking member of arguably the most important family in horological history, that of the Rolex Oyster.

The Speedking features a 30mm stainless steel Oyster case, a screw-down case back and an original Rolex signed screw-down crown. The recently polished case is very well-preserved and exhibits only minimal signs of previous use. The watch comes supplied on a 2pc leather strap.
The dial is the real standout on this Speedking, its graceful and intense aging offers character that no modern watch could hope to match. It features a mix of stainless steel hour markers, the most striking being the pointed pyramids, a seldom-seen shape on any watch dial. The tapered steel hands and blued steel center seconds hands are original remain in excellent condition.
