CASE & BRACELET
The impressive case is in excellent condition, showing signs of only minimal polishing in the past and retains thick and symmetrical lugs with light signs of use. The "bubble" case back is double stamped, featuring a crossed out reference 6285 and the correct reference 6284, this was common to see in this era. The watch was sourced on a Rolex "U.S.A. Made" oval-link Jubilee bracelet that retains 22 links and exhibits normal stretch for the bracelets age and style.
DIAL & HANDS
The intricate matte white "OCC" explorer dial with applied markers and numerals is simply a treat to have on wrist. The dial itself shows light age, which is appropriate, but has also taken on a charming warmth throughout and retains all of its applied accents and text in excellent condition. The radium lume plots all remain intact, though the show light degradation throughout when inspected under U.V. light. The original alpha hands and blue steel sweep-seconds hand are in remarkable condition, under U.V. light inspected the hour hand does show some lume loss, the minute hands exhibits no degradation.
