The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and most beloved Rolex watches ever made. Launched in 1945, it has remained a timeless classic, instantly recognizable as an item of advanced quality and functional design. The Datejust’s exemplary style makes it an extremely versatile choice, worn just as easily with a suit as with jeans and a t-shirt. The Datejust would make a wonderful starting point for a new vintage collector, and is always a great addition to an expanding collection.

We love the early Rolex Datejust for its simplicity and its classic sophistication. This executive execution of the early reference is downright stunning and would make a great addition to a growing collection or for the gentlemen that are looking for a touch of classic, elegant, and executive exclusivity.

CASE & BRACELET

The 18K yellow gold case has been previously lightly polished showing light and honest wear, exhibiting even and thick lugs. The yellow gold fluted bezel has been lightly polished in the past and shows little to no wear from use. The watch will be supplied on a 2pc leather strap of your choosing.

DIAL & HANDS

The champagne "SWISS" only "pie-pan" dial is absolutely stunning. The radium lume dots remain fully intact under U.V. light inspection and have aged evenly to a lovely golden coloration. The radium lume in the original hands matches the dial nicely, but have started to age slightly darker towards the center on the hand stack, which is common for this era. Under U.V. light inspection the lume in the hands displays no lume loss or degradation. The metallic gold date wheel is era correct with open 6's and 9's.
