1959 Rolex Oyster Royal Precision (Ref. 6426)
Manual wind movements were a large part of Rolex history, named the "Precision" line, where the automatic movements received the "Perpetual" moniker. The Precision timepieces were created as more affordable options that retain in-house movements and charming details. The ref. 6426 was one of the longest-running Rolex models spanning from the 1950s to the 80s. The Rolex Oyster Royal Precision is a gentlemanly timepiece, both handsome and thin, perfect for daily wear and suitable for any occasion.

The thick case has seen minimal polishing in its past and retains very full lugs that show very little signs of use. The smooth stainless steel bezel shows minimal signs of use as well. The watch will come supplied on a 2pc handmade leather strap.
The beautiful and early "Royal" dial has aged excellently to a creamy yellow coloration without exhibiting major damage or wear. The radium lume plots all remain intact and show light degradation throughout when inspected under U.V. light. The original alpha hands have aged slightly darker than the dial and remain in overall great condition, under U.V. light inspection the hands display no degradation.
The watch is running perfectly, the previous service history is unknown.
