1960s Eberhard Scafodat 18K RG (Ref. 11532-1) "Roulette Date Wheel" W/ Box

When George-Emile Eberhard founded his eponymous watch company in 1887 at just 22 years of age in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, it would've been hard to imagine he would eventually grow it into one of the largest Swiss watch manufacturers of the early 1900s.

Though Eberhard & Co. had a lot of influence on Swiss watchmaking history, they've still remained a more "under the radar" brand than many of their contemporaries. But that just makes things like this Scafodat even more special. Not only is it a testament to the rich history and bold outlook of the brand, but it's also a perfect reflection of the era in which it was crafted. Made out of a stunning 18k rose gold with a matching bracelet, it exudes an incredible degree of charm and warmth.

This comes with its original box, making it even more of a quintessential dress watch for the collector who wants something that will turn heads and start conversations.

The 18K rose gold case is in incredible condition overall, showing minimal signs of previous polishing and light signs of use expected for the age of the watch. It features the original signed crown. The case back retains all of the original factory markings in deep and crisp condition. The watch is paired with its original matching rose gold stretch-link bracelet with an Eberhard-signed clasp which is stamped 3/63. The long bracelet retains 27 links that show no stretch and will fit up to a 7 3/4-inch wrist.

The warm silver-colored dial is in immaculate condition without any damage or notable age, and features an alternating red and black "roulette" date wheel at 3 o'clock. The rose gold indices are bright and remain very presentable. The original rose gold dauphine hands show only the slightest oxidation and are in near-perfect condition.

The watch comes with its original green Eberhard box. The watch is keeping time, but the service history is unknown. A movement service can be provided upon request.
