1960s Heuer Carrera 12 Dato Reference 2547S
One word comes to mind when looking at this 1960's Heuer Carrera 12 Dato 2547S, and that's INCREDIBLE! I mean seriously, who doesn't love a triple calendar paired with the functionality of a chronograph! The Heuer Carrera 12 ref 2547S is rarely seen outside of private collections and or the auction house and is highly collectible. A lot is going on in 36mm stainless steel case of the Heuer 2547S, but in typical Heuer fashion, it is all balance and perfectly executed down to the fonts of the text to the color palate of the dial and hands. Not to mention 2547 is very functional and also useful. Matter of fact, I don't think you could, nor, would want to squeeze another complication into this watch its pretty much got everything you would ever want out of a watch!
The Heuer Carrera 12 Dato 2547S is an incredible watch that seamlessly combines a triple calendar with a chronograph very much much like the Rolex Dato-Compax. matter of fact the Heuer 2547S and the Rolex Dato Compax share more than similar looks, as they both use the Valjoux caliber 72C movement
This is a watch that is worth collecting and would command the wrist time of any decerning collector as it is highly unlikely that you will ever see one again for sale at least not in the near term as most known examples reside in the hands of established collectors who are unlikely to be selling this rare reference any time soon!
