1960s Marc Nicolet Skin Diver 20ATM (Ref. 764)
Nestled in the French / Swiss border along the Jura Mountains, Armand Nicolet began making timepieces under the Nicolet name in 1875. Once a well-known and highly sought-after timepiece manufacturer, the Nicolet brand started life producing finely made pocket watches that were best known for their guilloché style cases. As watchmaking and wristwatches evolved, so did the Nicolet brand, as they went on to introduce some genuinely innovative mid-century designs in the 1900s. Marc Nicolet was a sub-brand of Nicolet that offered more affordably priced - eccentrically designed timepieces.
