1964 Rolex Datejust (Ref. 1601) No-Lume Dial "Alpha Hands"

The very thick case exhibits minimal signs of a previous polish and retains symetrical lugs that shows light signs of use. The white gold fluted bezel remains in crisp unpolished condition with light signs of use. The original acrylic crystal does show significant crazing seen in the photos, please note the marks are on the crystal, not the dial. The original Rolex 6251H rolled-link Jubilee bracelet with 55 end pieces is stamped 1/65 and retains 20 links that shows some stretch from use.
The original non-luminous "pie-pan" silver dial is in excellent condition, the dial features unique makers and display some minor aging around the edge of the inner dial which is common to see in the era. The original non-luminous hands are also in wonderful condition, exhibiting normal oxidation for the age of the hands. The metallic date wheel is era correct with closed 6's and 9's.
