1965 Tudor Submariner (Ref. 7928) Gilt Chapter Ring Dial
The Tudor Submariner Ref. 7928 was first introduced in 1960. The Ref. 7928 is like the little brother to the Rolex 5513/5512 references as they share many of the same exact parts and similar design elements. Interestingly, the Rolex Submariner and the Tudor Submariner were actually developed at the same time and launched just a few months apart from each other. The Tudor Submariner Ref 7928 is just as handsome as the big brother Rolex 5512/5513 references but possess a unique charm and feeling that is distinctly Tudor!
This would make a great addition to a growing collection or be a great first piece as it retains the classic and timeless look of the Submariner while being unique and eye-catching.

The previously lightly polished case retains thick and even lugs, showing normal wear. The faded "fat font" insert remains in excellent condition, retaining the tritium pearl and showing light wear. The case retains the original and era correct Rolex 7mm "Twin-Lock" crown that does not exhibit dots or underline. The original Rolex 9315 bracelet with 380 end pieces remains in unpolished condition showing some wear and exhibiting some stretch from use.
The gorgeous glossy chapter ring dial remains in an amazing vintage condition that has taken on an excellent patina consistent throughout the dial. The hands and lume plots have achieved a stunningly warm and golden like patina, and remain fully intact and when viewed under U.V. light show no lume degradation.
