1968 Omega Constellation (Ref. 157 0002) Blue Dial
Since 1952 the Omega Constellation has been regarded as one of the most luxurious and precise watch collections offered by OMEGA. This particular Constellation is different from its brothers and sisters in the Omega catalog but shares the core DNA of the brand, that of the offbeat and unique.

The 34.5-millimeter case size might seem small on paper, but the design of this watch creates a more substantial presence on the wrist that one would expect. It features a fantastic mix of case shapes, with the normal circle design taking center stage but then being surprisingly supported by the more barrel-like design of the upper and lower case. The case also features the Omega 2055 integrated steel flat-link bracelet. To be completely honest this Constellation has a touch of design reminiscent of the famous Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and Patek Philippe Nautilus but predates both.
The dial is a beautiful flat blue and besides a few small chips, is quite clean and remarkably legible. It features thin, long stick hands, matching the elegant stick hour markers.
