*Unpolished* 1969 Longines Admiral 5-Star (Ref. 8336 5) W/ Original Stap, Buckle, & Box
Throughout its history, Longines has created some of the most beautiful pieces the watch world has ever seen, and in 1960 they continued that trend with the release of the Admiral 5-Star. A stunning automatic, stainless steel watch for everyday wear, no matter the circumstances. This particular one from 1969 comes to us as if directly out of the display window, unpolished and as sharp as the day it left the factory, complete with the original strap, buckle, and box.
|Bracelet||2pc Longines Crocodile Strap W/ Longines Buckle|
The Admiral features a 36mm stainless steel case with a screw-down case back, with the original Longines sticker still fully intact. The sides of the case are finished in a high polish while the tops of the short, angled lugs shine out in a beautiful sunburst satin. The case is in remarkable condition for its age, showing virtually no signs of its 50+ years.
The dial is a gorgeous and strikingly clean sunburst silver. It is fitted with raised stainless steel, black inlaid, stick hour markers, matching the slightly tapered stick hands. It also features five stainless steel stars, narrowing down the guesses as to how it got its nickname, and a large date wheel at 3 o'clock.
The Admiral 5 Star comes included with its original strap, buckle, and box. The watch is keeping time perfectly, previous service history is unknown.
