1970 Wakmann Breitling Regatta Ref. 9804 Yatching Chronograph (Gold Cap)

This Circa 1970 Wakmann Regatta is unique, cool, and has more complications than you can shake a stick at.

Poised and ready to turn heads, the Wakmann Regatta is a reference from the Wakmann sports collection, which was introduced in the 1970’s. Powered by the Lemania 1341. This rare and unique chronograph features a rotating inner bezel, two-register chronograph with a central minute counter, and monthly calendar planner. The watch was offered in stainless steel or gold plated cases with multiple dial variations and handsets. Like the Triple Date, these Regatta Chronographs are becoming increasingly hard to find in good condition and this example is in flawless and original condition.

This is a unique piece that contains all of the key characteristics of similar chronographs from the same era without the heavy hitter price tag. This would make a great addition to an existing collection and or be a great daily driver as the case size and look is suitable for dress options both casual and formal!
