1971 Rolex Datejust (Ref. 1601) Grey Dial

This specific 1971 Datejust Ref. 1601 retains its original grey "pie-pan" stick marker dial and is in excellent condition with its original Jubilee bracelet and white gold fluted bezel. CASE & BRACELET
The excellent case retains full and symmetrical lugs that display minimal evidence of previous polishing, with honest signs of gentle use present. The white gold fluted bezel remains minimally polished with crisp edges and nominal signs of use present. The original Rolex rolled-link Jubilee bracelet with 55 end pieces retains 24 links that show some stretch and will fit up to an 8-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The original grey sunburst "pie-pan" dial is in remarkably well-preserved and beautiful condition, showing only minor elements of age that are invisible to the naked eye. The tritium lume plots have achieved a handsome creamy patina and exhibit no degradation when inspected under UV light. The original tritium hands have aged slightly darker than the dial and display no degradation under UV light inspection. The metallic date wheel is original with "open" 6's and 9's.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch was recently serviced and is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
