1971 Rolex Datejust (Ref. 1601) Grey Dial

This specific 1971 Datejust Ref. 1601 retains its original grey "pie-pan" stick marker dial and is in excellent condition with its original Jubilee bracelet and white gold fluted bezel. CASE & BRACELET
The strong case retains thick and symmetrical lugs that show light evidence of prior polishing and gentle signs of use. The white gold fluted bezel retains sharp finishing, with minimal signs of use. The case back is also in excellent condition, with expected signs of light use. The original Rolex rolled-link Jubilee bracelet with 55 end pieces retains 20 links that show minimal stretch for the style and age of the bracelet, and will fit up to a 7-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The original grey sunburst "pie-pan" dial is in remarkably well-preserved, virtually perfect vintage condition, showing no damage and nominal age. The tritium lume plots have achieved an excellent creamy patina and exhibit no degradation when inspected under UV light. The original tritium hands match the dial almost perfectly and display no degradation under UV light inspection. The metallic date wheel is original with "open" 6 and 9 numerals.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch was recently serviced and is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
