1971 Rolex Datejust (Ref.1601) Silver Dial

The case retains excellent thick and even lugs. WG fluted bezel remains in excellent unpolished condition showing little wear. The case back is stamped II.70, and the watch will come on a 2pc handmade shell cordovan leather strap.
The silver step dial remains in beautiful vintage condition showing no wear signs or blemishing. The lume plots have aged to a complimentary ivory coloration. The 7 o'clock lume plot is missing, but the rest of the lume plots remain fully intact without degradation. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly and remain fully intact in excellent condition. Both the hands and the dial have been inspected under U.V. light to ensure originality. The silver date wheel is era correct with open 6's and 9's.
