We love the Rolex Datejust for its simplicity and its classic sophistication. Perfectly worn in any setting from formal to casual. A Sigma dial is a Rolex dial named for the letters printed at the bottom of the dial at the 6 o'clock position. Most Rolex dials are commonly marked with “T Swiss T,” under the 6 o'clock marker, however, a Sigma dial is marked “σ T SWISS T σ.” This signifies the use of gold components within the dial.

CASE & BRACELET

The strong case has been lightly polished in the past and retains full and symmetrical lugs that show light, honest signs of use. The white gold fluted bezel remains unpolished and has taken on a gorgeous warm patina. The Rolex 6251H rolled-link Jubilee bracelet with 55 end pieces retains 21 links that show normal stretch for its style and age.

DIAL & HANDS

The silver sunburst "pie-pan" sigma dial is in superb original condition. The tritium lume plots have aged to a charming creamy yellow patina, remaining full and round, without degradation when inspected under U.V. light. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly and show no degradation when inspected under U.V. light. The silver date wheel is era correct with open 6's and 9's.

None. The watch was recently service and is running at spec, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
