Omega has had its share of home runs over the decades to be sure, but every so often a model will unexplainably slip through the cracks and off the radars of collectors. Our eyes become so glued to the big names that we miss some incredibly unique things. And the Seamaster is a big name, absolutely, but the "Cosmic" sub-model has been extravagantly overlooked. The Cosmic comes in a variety of case shapes and fantastic dial combinations, a diverse family that deserves its time in the sun.

CASE & BRACELET
The unique and well-proportioned case has a robust design that remains in excellent overall condition, showing gentle signs of use. The original bidirectional black acrylic bezel is exceptional with only very minimal wear present. The case retains its original and exaggerated Omega-signed screw-down winding crown. The watch comes supplied on its original 1198/195 stainless steel bracelet with 15 links that show light stretch and will fit up to an 8-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The original matte black "depth rating" dial is in near perfect condition, showing no damage and with the only elements of age being located at the very edges of the dial, invisible to the naked eye, and nominal in nature. The tritium lume plots have achieved a lovely golden patina and show no degradation under UV light inspection. The original tritium hands have aged to a darker shade of brown and exhibit no degradation under UV light inspection.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
