This 1973 Datejust ref. 1601 retains its original Grey "pie-pan" stick marker dial and is in excellent condition with its original Jubilee bracelet and white gold fluted bezel. The exceptional case retains very thick and symmetrical lugs that exhibit no major signs of previous polishing with honest signs of gentle use present. The white gold fluted bezel shows crisp edges and is in excellent overall condition with only light signs of use present. The Rolex rolled-link Jubilee bracelet with 55 end pieces features a service 62510H clasp which is very common, the bracelet retains 19 links that show normal stretch for the style and age of the bracelet and will fit up to a 7-inch wrist.


The original grey sunburst "pie-pan" dial is flawless, showing no damage or age. The tritium lume plots have achieved a charming creamy-yellow patina and exhibit no degradation when inspected under UV light. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly with no degradation present under UV light inspection. The metallic date wheel is original with "open" 6's and 9's.
