1973 Rolex Oyster-Perpetual Date (Ref. 1501) No-Lume Silver Sigma Dial
This unique and somewhat rare piece would make a great start for a new vintage collector, or be a great addition to an expanding collection. Providing a classic feel while bringing a unique look while on the wrist. A "Sigma dial" is a Rolex dial named for the letters printed at the bottom of the dial at the 6 o'clock position. Most Rolex dials are commonly marked with “T Swiss T,” under the 6 o'clock marker, however, a Sigma dial is marked “σ T SWISS T σ.” This signifies the use of gold components within the dial.

CASE & BRACELET
The lightly polished case retains strong and symmetrical lugs that show light signs of use. The stainless steel engine turned bezel is in excellent unpolished condition and displays only light signs of use. The Role 7835 folded-link Oyster bracelet with 357 end pieces retains 12 links that exhibit on minor stretch from use.
DIAL & HANDS
The rare non-luminous silver sigma dial is in near flawless condition, showing no real signs of age of blemishes. The non-luminous hands shows some light oxidation which is common for this era and are in otherwise excellent condition. The silver date wheel is era correct with open 6's and 9's

None. Watch is keeping time and functioning perfectly, previous service history is unknown.
