1960s Tiffany & Co. Dress Watch 14K YG (Ref. T-100) Silver Dial

$ 2,350

When we think of vintage Tiffany & Co. watches, the first examples that often come to mind are those bearing the coveted co-signed dials of prestigious Swiss manufacturers, which have become highly sought-after for their rarity, history, and undeniable charm. However, beyond these celebrated collaborations, Tiffany & Co. also offered an impressive collection of timepieces under its own name, many of which remain underappreciated in the world of vintage watch collecting.

Often crafted from precious metals and drawing inspiration from the timeless designs of traditional Swiss dress watches, these pieces embody the understated elegance and refined aesthetic synonymous with Tiffany & Co. This beautiful 1960s Ref. T-100 is a perfect example, featuring a classic Calatrava-inspired design rendered in 14K yellow gold, with elegant proportions, slender lugs, and a clean satin silver dial accented by applied gold markers. The result is an effortlessly sophisticated dress watch that feels equally at home beneath the cuff of a tuxedo as it does paired with jeans and a white T-shirt, a testament to the enduring versatility of timeless design.

CASE & BRACELET

The classic 14K yellow gold case is in excellent condition, showing light wear and minor evidence of prior polishing. The case back is adorned with an endearing engraving that reads "Years of Happiness and Love, Eugenie, 6.20.65". The watch features its original, unsigned crown and comes supplied on a two-piece brown leather strap.

DIAL & HANDS

The understated satin silver dial remains in wonderful vintage condition, exhibiting only subtle signs of age around its outer edges, with no notable scratches or blemishes across the main surface. The applied gold hour markers and matching handset contrast beautifully against the satin silver finish, while the crisp black “Tiffany & Co.” signature adds another layer of visual depth to an otherwise minimalist design. Under UV light inspection, the original lume plots on the dial are almost entirely absent, while the lume within the hour hand has developed a warm cream patina and shows no degradation. The minute hand has also lost the majority of its original luminous material.
