*Unpolished* 1979 Rolex Datejust (Ref. 16014) Silver Dial
The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and beloved Rolex watches ever made. This classic dress watch has been produced by the Swiss luxury watchmaker since 1945 and has remained a timeless classic that is instantly recognizable as an item of refined quality and functional design. The Datejust was designed for everyday wear, and its sleek and elegant design makes it one of the most universally loved watches for both men and women.
One of the largest evolutions for the Rolex Datejust model lineup was at the end of the 1970s with the introduction of the first "flat dial" Datejust. These models introduced upgraded bracelets, and the movement was vastly upgraded to the Rolex cal. 3035 quick-set movement. These Datejust variations are often referred to as being transitional, as they still feature the more classic acrylic crystals and tritium lume, whilst housing many advancements.

CASE & BRACELET
The exceptional case is believed to remain unpolished with sharp finishing and factory dimensions fully intact. Light signs of honest use are present throughout, but no notable dings or damage are present. The 18K white gold fluted bezel is in very crisp, unpolished condition as well, with nominal wear present. The watch comes supplied on a 2pc handmade brown leather suede strap.
DIAL & HANDS
The original silver sunburst dial is perfect, with no age or damage present whatsoever. The tritium lume plots have achieved an even creamy patina and exhibit no degradation when inspected under UV light. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly and display no degradation under UV light inspection. The metallic date wheel is original with "open" 6 and 9 numerals.

None. The watch is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
