1980s Rodania For Alfa Romeo Chronograph (Ref. 3174.20)

Rodania is a well-respected Swiss watchmaker that was formally established in 1930 and still exists today. Throughout Rodania's long history they have created watches for several different military's and have collaborated with some highly influential brands.

During the late 1970s to the early 1980s, Rodania created small batches of several different models for the Italian auto manufacturer Alfa Romeo, including a chronograph, a dive watch, and a dress watch. All of the Rodania for Alfa Romeo watches feature the iconic Alfa Romeo crest and a unique brown and tan textured dial. This ref. 3174.20 is powered by a Valjoux cal. 7750 automatic chronograph movement and would make a perfect addition to the vintage or modern car enthusiast's watch collection.

The original tritium hands match the dial nicely, under U.V. light inspection the minute hand shows light degradation and remains stable, the hour hand shows no degradation.
